The following items were discussed in the session on July 12th .
Please check them and bring the appropriate items to class on Tuesday.
1-Make a professional pic of yourself to put on your card if you have not already done so.
2-Bring it to class for evaluaton by the others.Make a card if you have not ordered them yet and bring one to leave with your instructor --Hopefullly one with a picture.
3-Get or make a name tag
4-Make a blog about yourself
5-Make a newsletter to mail out to prospects.6-Make a brochure to leave when you talk to prospects or cold calls.
6-Bring your company sign to clas
7-Order name riders if you have not done so .
ask your broker about prices and get on the web to get prices to share with class mates.
8-Becoe familiar with prices and neighborhoods and prices in the area to adequately inform prospects about the area.
9-make a projected calendar of events through the next few weeks and show prospecting time/down time etc.
10-Make a battle plan to share with the class of how you and your broker plan for you to get business.
11-Write down questions and objections that you anticipate prospects and customers may raise when you initially talk to them.
12-Make a travel package from the following list plus add your own needs to the list and "stock you trunk".
I have 3 parts to my travel packet
I- survival kit:
One good thing to have is a cooler with a handle that you can carry in and out of your house and office.
With an ice pack you can carry cameras and other sensitive equipment with a minimum amount of heat or cold damamge.
In your travel package you need at the least:
1-a flashlight
2-tape measure
3-plastic spoons and cups in plastic
4-your favorite snack that has staying power in case you or a client get hungry
A jar of peanut butter and ritz crackers are one suggestion
zip lock has some screw on cap plastic contailners that I use to store servings of cereal in case I get hungry and do not want a meal. I stop and buy a 1/2 pint of milk.
5-a couple cans of easy open food/ tuna/jucie (V8)
6-bottles of soda -not cans- they can be resealed between stops to prevent spillage in the car
7-Bottles of water
II-nicities for my clints:
also in the car you need 4 small umberellas stored under each seat
III- Business supplies
1-You need demographics such as the local real estate books
2-a map or two
3-Three copies of all of you forms
4-cards
5-brochures
6-cell phone
a packet with office supplies including
scissors
hole punch
blue ink pen
small stapeler
small staple remover
extra staples

clip board
lined paper

Visit them and ask them about their programs and services.
Are they available on sunday afternoon?
Call them and confirm how easy they are to reach.
Willl they hepl you "get started"?
Do they currently have prospects who need an agent?
Will they sponsor "agents luncheons" to help you market your houses?
Will they share in advertising and sit with you in an oopen houe or offer prizes?
What are therir best programs per demographic?
What about new home buyers?
What about 2 home buyers wiht equity?etc.

Whaat are their guide lines.
